Black dot shaft is 35 pieces of wood spliced together one on top of the other and then turned down into the shape of a shaft. 14 1/2-16" pro taper. No collar or rings, threaded brass insert. Joint: Flat faced wood-to-wood with 5/16x18 pin. Forearm: Natural maple Sleeve: Rosewood Standard finish: Five-proof urethane coating. Bumper: basic push in rubber bumper.
